I recall him saying they shot it really quickly, just he and a cameraman. On the spot, they went down the Tubes and shot about an hour's worth of footage.

I had forgotten all about that video.  Nice one 2.

I remember liking this song quite a bit.  His voice sounded good.

Looking back at all that crappy 80s production makes me wish it had been recorded during a different time.

That video:  We are looking at one of the most confident and charming humans ever.  Man is he a king in that video.  The looks on the people's faces is just how my face would have looked.  I probably would have kissed him too!

The video is also every Beatle fan's dream.  Just seeing Paul in an everyday situation and being lucky enough to be there.

That song also reminds me of that horrendous album cover.

I actually liked that record quite a bit though.

I wish he wouldn't have had those 30 musicians on the record though.  It would have been better with just a band.  One of the versions of Wings would have been great on that.

It seems like I always have tons of critiques to make about Paul with anything that came after London Town.  I'm so stuck in 70's McCartney.  Yes...I really really liked Back to the Egg but I often criticize that album cover.  Who was telling him that was ok to do?

I almost seriously think I could have made a great advisor to him at one period in his career.  His career would have tanked of course, but the hard core fans would have loved my ideas. lol

I'm just tacking on to the rare Paul video thread here.

Hehe I remember this one very well, and it surprisingly got a fair bit of radio airplay in New Zealand when it came out.. it was 'Paul McCartney's new single' but in the end it was only a minor hit and the album Press To Play won critical acclaim in the local papers but never made a dent in the charts (I was watching the Top 40 albums and singles to see how it would go).

But I do remember buying the vinyl of Press To Play, in a magic shop called Merlin's!! They also sold records! It took a few listens to get into the more experimental tracks like Talk More Talk and Pretty Little Head, but those songs eventually became favourites.

I still hold the album in a high regard.

Wow! This is great. I didn't know that he was even playing 'Maybe I'm Amazed' prior to the Wings Over America period. I wonder where this video originally came from?
