Title: This guy is playing in my basement right now.
Post by: Greg on November 24, 2015, 09:21:56 pm
I met a guy who is in a band.  He asked if his band could rent the practice space in my basement.  I told him 'no', but they could practice for free.  So they've been over several times.  I thought they sounded good when they first started coming over.

They write their own tunes.  Anyway...song starts at 2:45 mark.

Wow, pretty great. He plays guitar like I do...well..except he's actually good at it.  ;D

Have you recorded anything while he's there, or joined it at all?

I played a little keyboards but quickly bowed out when I realized these guys don't need an old guy who is no where near their talent level.  Added to the fact is that I can't commit to a project the way those young people can.  I play music quite a bit and teach 1st gr.

That's pretty great! Obviously, too much talent to make it big today, though....
