I heard some doctors talking about the combination of ailments he had, was not uncommon with people who used certain drugs for years and years. Sucks whatever the cause.

I'm gonna have to rewatch my 'History of the Eagles' blu-ray. He was tough and uncompromising. I still remember that part of the doco when he described firing Randy Meisner from the band after he refused to sing 'Take It To The Limit' onstage - sent chills down my spine - you don't wanna mess with Glenn Frey!
