Anyone see this?  I have both of those orig albums and theyre great great great.

KyleNZ, did you hear of this guy growing up?  He was unheard of here...even in Michigan where he's from.  But he was supposed to be pretty famous in your country.

(If any of you know nothing of this I will tell you that it is one of the most fascinating stories in music.)

This is one documentary I still haven't seen, but have been meaning to watch one of these days!

It didn't surprise me that his album sold so well in places like South Africa and around the world, but I didn't get into him until the re-imaging by David Holmes and the Free Association got loads of airplay here in New Zealand around 2000. From there, I dug around and became quite interested in Rodriguez and his story.  But yeah, after the documentary came out I made a note to myself to see it, but never got around to it!
