Last year we did Pepper, and it was cool. Sold out 800 tickets.
This year the vote was for a 60s theme...much to my disappointment.
Anyway...we don't have a name for the concert. Any ideas?
(This is not the other concert Im involved with where I asked for obscure 60s songs. Thats the British Invasion concert that Im doing with another band.)
So any titles you can think of that reference the 60s or something.
Enchantment Under the Sea Dance probably wont work.

Woodstock ?
I don't think it's been used before either.

Heck, I kind of like, The Newest Concert. :)

Ive submitted all those suggestions to our group email. I hope they all decide soon so I can make the poster.
Anyway THX THX much.
I know its never been used before, but I didnt submit Woodstock because, obviously, the first thing people will think of is that bird from Charlie Brown.

...and happy Spring to everyone. We got 8 inches of snow in the last 24 hours.
-
Yeah, those of us down south of you are going to get it this evening. At least we will be able to follow the Easter Bunnies tracks in the snow and find the goodies. :)

77F today........just saying it. :-)

I just for the heck of it, checked Google to see if there was a band called The Newest, and I didn't get any hits. Seems like the perfect name to me since whenever you swap or add a band member or do a new show, it's never I lie. ;D

Very cool. I like it.
Also...over two feet of snow today.
-
Yeah, we got hammered too. Rain, Freezing rain, ice pellets, snow, and then reversed again. Snowblower won't touch it. ::)

Cue Merv posting a picture of him and LC sitting on the veranda sipping a Mint Julep. ;D

The Bangles were called The Bangs, but when they got a contract they were contacted by a group who already had the name The Bangs. A lawsuit threat caused them to use Bangles.
