Bob Dylan, Dion DiMucci, Larry Bell, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.
They are on the Pepper cover and...?
-
Sonny Liston, Mae West, Stu Sutcliff are as well....
-
I was referring to the only five people still alive fr the cover.
West, Liston, Sutcliffe? What's their connection? I'm really curious on this one.
-
Never mind.
I get your answer now.
I didnt state, in my orig post, why I put those names on a list.
My fault.
But isnt that a weird fact that only five people are alive from that cover?
Maybe not surprising, but I just never thought about how many would still be around from that cover.
-
It's also got something to do with the age of many of the people included on the cover at the time.....A number of them were dead already at that time.
That is a very interesting thing though...
-
I was thinking of looking into how many living people (in '67) were included on the cover.
Im probably to lazy to go through all the names and years of their death.
-
Ok...just quickly browsing the names it looks like it could be 20 or so that were alive.
Margin of error is about 5 either way Id say.
-
I understand they ran into a few folks who were alive or had estates that didn't want to be included...
-
At least one of them wanted to be paid. Forgot who, but he wasnt included.
I think it was Mae West who said, "What would I be doing in a lonely hearts club band?"
Shirley Temple wanted to hear the record first before who would agree.

Love Mae West's comment!
