I still don't get how the guy who wrote the words to Rigby and Fool on the Hill, For No One, and others could not have a great lyrical song in the 70's.
Imo.
But having said that I like the lyrics to the following 70s tunes.

I believe Paul got very "domesticated" in the 70's, seemingly quite happy with his life.....good for him, but not so for his lyric writing.
