Right. Not too uncommon for him to do that. Stu was still playing bass and I recall reading Paul would frequently have trouble with his Rosetti Lucky 7. Lovely photo, innit?

That looks amazing. I have recently been listening to the 62 Hamburg Star Club recording. I had not previously been attracted to it as I thought it too lo fi, but now I appreciate it as being able to be sitting in the audience in a piece of history. Funny though that it's actuallt later than the Decca demos and Love Me Do.

Oh, those Star Club recordings......vicious, hard-hitting, raw! I wish they had gotten a more hifi recording of THAT era. I actually have a CD that included Kingsize Taylor & the Dominoes from that same night. If memory serves, it was Kingsize that did the recordings.
