Yeah, to me is like Bob Barker and Gene Rayburn, Bill Cullen, etc.  He is prob the last of that generation of icons.

Alex had everything those guys had plus this: He made it cool to be smart. In school, around kids my age, that was not encouraged. If you met someone new and asked if they'd seen Jeopardy, when they answered in the affirmative, you knew this person was going to be cool with that side of you.
