Now, being I found this on the internet, I have no idea if it's fake or not. But if it is real, it is something to think about isn't it?

So I was reading about that Mayweather/Pacquiao fight and learned that Mayweather made close to 300 million for one night.
Now, given the world we live in now with all things available to us with the click of a mouse...Let's pretend the Beatles were still around today and they are just coming off Abbey Road...so in other words....The "at the height of their fame" Beatles. Question: What kind of money do you think they could command for a one off Pay Per View worldwide broadcast?
A Billion ? :P
-
You know, after thinking about it, a billion is not out of the question.
-
Weren't ABBA offered a billion a few years ago?
-
Think of the hype machine that would tout this event to the world and how much could be made on pay per view? A Billion would about cover it...
-
Weren't ABBA offered a billion a few years ago?
Yep. Yes they were.

This is kind of neat. It shows you just where you are in relation to other parts of the world. Being Canadian, I'm always surprised how much of the USA is further north than where I live(not counting Alaska).

It also gives you a good idea of how the ocean currents affect climate. By looking at this site, you have to wonder why the UK isn't cold and snowy.

That was cool. Never saw that.
And I think I live north of you up here the U.P. of Michigan.
