Title: Could "Ding Dong, Ding Dong" be labeled as a Christmas song?
Post by: Derek on December 12, 2013, 09:38:56 am
John had "Happy Christmas (War Is Over)", Paul had "Wonderful Christmastime" and Ringo had "I Wanna Be Santa Clause". But it seems the jury is still out rather or not to cal George's 1974 song "Ding Dong, Ding Dong" a Christmas song sonce it is more about New Years than anything. but then again we always say "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year" like its a package deal. and i keep reading article where the put the song in the same catagory as the 3 other songs i mentioned. i was making a Christmas song playlist and i feel comflicted rather or not to add "Ding Dong...." to it. what are your thoughts?

Oh for sure, add it to your playlist. It's a fun song...a holiday party song. It belongs on everyone's playlist.  :)
