Title: HELP! I'M OLD!!

I hang out on a sports forum(what?!?!)...yes it's true.  ;D and it is inhabited by 20 somethings, so of course, I don't really relate to anything they have to say on any topic...but it's a learning experience for me...so I hang about. ANYWHO.....on the music thread there, they posted this http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=mh9eJJ8cKsU#! and talked about how brilliant it is etc etc..  Now....I just don't get it. What am I missing?

Brilliant in what way? Musically? Or as a video concept? It was fine for me if I were doing something else, but didn't hold my interest as "music".

That was my thought too. It reminded me of the background music(?) of an 80's video game....or...the demo tune of a 29 dollar casio keyboard.

not to go semi-off topic...but I too check out, semi regularly, a sports forum...and I noticed they all speak sabermetrics. i'm a little bit more old school when it comes to sports. my eyes tell me when a player is good or does well. i'm learning...slowly...but it is a completely different language.
