I like it.  I don't love it.  He sings it really really well though.
Those drums are killing me.

I wish they would have tried to create the same feel and sound as Goodnight off the White Album.

I believe Paul got very "domesticated" in the 70's, seemingly quite happy with his life.....good for him, but not so for his lyric writing.

I still don't get how the guy who wrote the words to Rigby and Fool on the Hill, For No One, and others could not have a great lyrical song in the 70's.

Imo.

But having said that I like the lyrics to the following 70s tunes.
Famous Groupies
Listen to What the Man Said
Uncle Albert
Monkberry
San Ferry Anne
Old Siam Sir

Gotta go. Going to Joker movie right this min.

That is a long-forgotten fact.  Now that you mention it I think I do recall that.  You totally make a great point.  Yes, why is the media having a "breaking news" on this?

When I was but a young Beatles fan, there weren't nearly as many options available as far as books on the Beatles. My first "good" Beatles book was "The Beatles Forever" by Nicholas Schaffner. In that book, there was a passage that mentions this very fact, that the Lads were planning future albums before Lennon went to Toronto for the festival. I'm wondering why news outlets are saying this is newly discovered?

Still, wonder what a 1970-71 Beatles album would have looked like?

I'll also tack this on because it's kind of interesting.
