Movie Star, Rock Star gone age 93.

It's funny, the role that comes to mind for me also is Scaramanga in The Man With The Golden Gun.

In retrospect, I have a few Christopher Lee movies in my dvd/blu ray collection, including The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings films of course, but also The Wicker Man (though I admit, I only bought it to look at Britt Ekland's tatas) and the odd Hammer film. I was also an admirer of him to put out an album of heavy metal at his age. Well it was symphonic metal, but showed just how ageless the man was - to exist outside of the realms of space and time. And his characters reflected that too.
