For the last week or so, I have been endlessly listening to a couple of young sisters from Indianapolis, Lily & Madeleine. Just can't stop listening to them, been playing them flat-out every night the last few nights. It's like they come from a different period of time, it's so pure it's almost gospel. It could have been recorded in the 1940s. And their voices and harmonies - I don't think I've heard better vocals in a long long time. If ever.    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxqGolmPZWo

Nice! Thanks for the heads up.  :D

The debut album from 2013 is stunning from start-to-finish - this is 'Disappearing Heart' - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxY9ZL3kzL0

The second album 'Fumes' from 2014 introduced more of a band sound to the mix, this is 'Rabbit' - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fzx1xcFQmpk

And here's the new 2016 album 'Keep It Together', this is 'For The Weak' - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkNp0pACXz8

..there's so much more good stuff on their records - a massive discovery to me. They're like a female Everly Brothers!  :D

Thankyou for taking the time to listen to them! I have become such a huge fan! The first album in particular is so beautiful. Here's a song from that record - 'Goodbye To Anyone ' - it could've so easily have been a huge hit in 1966/67 - and just amazing vocal harmonies - recalls the Everly Brothers, Simon and Garfunkel, name any of the great duos.. they have it!!
