It is, but the drums are more funky and forward. I love the Charlie Brown (Vince Guaraldi) stuff!

Yeah, very cool sound for sure. The drummer, Jerry Granelli was on the radio the other day talking all about it. He's the only member left of the trio and it was great to hear him talk all about how it all came about.  Apparently CBS said NO to the Charlie Brown Christmas show but somebody at Coca-cola stepped in and said...we'll sponsor it. It makes you wonder if in those days, advertisers actually got to preview programs before hand. Thanks, Coke! ;)
