Lennon Birthday Tribute
« on: December 20, 2015, 12:45:28 pm »

Anybody see it? I haven't, but I read the reviews. Seems to be good. At first I thought it was weird that there was no Macca or Ringo. But then I thought about it a bit and thought...ok..that's a good thing...this is about John. But then I thought....

I gotta stop thinking. Just gets me in trouble.  :o ;D

I watched it on youtube.  There were some good songs.  Aloe Blacc was great.  Fogerty I liked.  Sheryl Crow was abyssal. No passion in what she played.  AHDN.   Frampton was good.  Those all-star jam/cluster-f**s are unwatchable for me.  I think they did something at the end.

I liked this:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y95pQ4Bs5-c

That was pretty cool. I was kinda hoping they'd somehow mix the rap with the song, but that was great. Not easy to do without butchering it..especially vocally.
