We're having a celebration of the 50th anniv of the release of Pepper in June '17. You have any ideas for the evening? We will sell tickets at an old auditorium and get local musicians to reproduce the album. It will basically be a concert. We think we can sell it out.
Anyway. Any cool ideas for the eve?
I think the comb and tissue on Rita could be a cool part. Get about 10 people doing that.
I thought that we could have the audience practice the audience parts then hold up giants cards that say "Laughter" "Fade laughter".
The ticket takers could dress up in some way.
We could open with a history of the album and some interesting stories and facts about the record.
There will be about 12 of us musicians sharing the instrumental parts, a string section, about 7 different people chosen to take turns on lead vocals, a horn section, the high school chorus, etc.
