Even though the lyrics of this song don't mention fall or autumn, they do mention the rustling of leaves.....and this version doesn't say anything except it has a melancholy about it. Still one of my fave Ventures songs.

Great idea for a topic.  That song is esp special to me 2of3.  It came out during the Fall of my senior yr.   Good song.
Harvest Moon or Long After The Boys Of Summer Have Gone...

or Simon and Garfunkle's Leaves That Are Green is perfect and one of my favorite songs.

But...what came to mind when I read your post was Beach Baby.  Dont even know who did it.  But it reminds me of Autumn.

It came out in the earlyish 70s and mentioned September.  It always reminded me of looking back at the summer from an Autumn perspective.

"Beach baby beach baby there on the sand from July to the end of September."

Very nostalgic song for me.

Thought it was going to be Summer Wind.  Forgot about this one.

Kingston Trio did it orig.  No harmony on it though.  Odd.

November Rain might count on a technicality.

Neil Diamond had some song about September...at least in the lyrics.
