Beatles almost weren't
« on: April 15, 2017, 09:05:24 pm »

It's remarkable how many things had to happen and not happen for The Beatles to have happened.
I dont have time right now but the list is long.

Ending military service was an incredible thing to have happened.  Without that there is no Beatles.
Alan Williams getting them the Germany gigs was so crucial. Without him they may not have existed.
Brian Epstein not giving up with them and being willing to put up with what he had to put up with from them was necessary for them to be what they became.
Do The Beatles happen if Mary lives?

I've heard things like this described as being on a tight rope, only not finding out that you were ON a tightrope until afterwards. Incredible.
