Listening to that George song right now.  Doesn't even ring a bell, and I bought this album when it came out.  And I liked it!
Excellent song and solo.

Was looking forward to someone continuing this.
Listening to this beautiful song right now with coffee on a Saturday morning.  No one in the house right now but me.
What a freakin beautiful voice on a beautiful song.  Holy Sh**.  Wow. 
Seriously.  That was something else man.     EDIT:  Oh yeah!!! This guy!  You posted something about him way way back.  I need to look into getting a vinyl of him.  Totally forgot how enthralled I was by this guys voice.

Wow.  It's here already.
I actually didnt listen to your link...but I did get up and put on Al's Greatest Hits because of your post.  It's like the fourth or fifth song on the album, so I will listen to it.
I looooooove the drum sound they got on this song.


Chas and Dave are novelty singers.  Anyway.  This was a pretty big song when I lived there.

MAN!!!! I should have gone to this show when they played Atlanta.....and it was at my fave venue, too. I must have been short of funds at the time.
