Originally recorded during the "Egypt Station" sessions. Why weren't these on there?

Home Tonight.  I don't hate it, but it's ...whatever.  Terrible lyrics.

In a Hurry.  I like this.  But for yrs now Ive just given him a handicap like in golf.  He's 77.  This song is great for a 77 yr old guy.

Cool song.  Cool lyrics.  However...If a new group came out with this song I wouldn't give it a second look.

I am the classic "stuck in the past", "he could do no wrong when I was young" type of person.  Neither proud nor ashamed of that.  Prob leaning towards the ashamed section of the spectrum though.

btw...Kenneth Womack's book on Abbey Road is really really really good.

I'll tell you though...it's support for him like yours and your undying appreciation for his music even to this day that keeps my faith in him.  Total respect my friend.

Thanks, Greg, much appreciated!

When I hear Paul's solo stuff, and most music in general, I hear the groove and melody first. McCartney has written transcendent lyrics in the past, but I don't expect that from him anymore....lately, I'm digging the fact he's still making music, touring, doing some TV, and seemingly having a blast doing so. In his twenties, Paul (and the rest of the Lads) gave my semi-musical brain so much to chew on...I'll remain indebted to them for the rest of my days.... :-)
