How does this work? If it was filmed in the 70's....it's not anywhere close to HD...so putting it on Blu-ray does what?

i would imagine they went back to the very best copy of the movie....perhaps even the original print and then clean it up digitally. I don't know if one could make a movie look better than the original print without lots of doctoring. I suppose how much work goes into it would be determined by how much revenue the owners of the movie plan to make.

Good point....hmm?...I wonder what the "next" format will be? Rainbow Ray probably...new and improved. Everything re-released in Rainbow Ray...just in time for Father's Day.  ;D
