We had this at the old site...might as well resurrect it.  :)

I admit I've never heard of this band before. I had no idea there was a rockin girl group in the 70's.

Yeah Fanny were great! And that's an awesome cover of one of my favourite Beatles songs! They also did a rip-roaringly good cover of 'Badge' by Cream.

Another good all-female rock band to check out is Birtha - similar vein to Fanny. And another is The Pleasure Seekers, featuring a teenaged Suzi Quatro. There's a video on YouTube featuring her in 1968 flipping out on lead vocals, an amazing performance, shaking her thang! People always assume The Runaways were the first all-female rock band (as opposed to a 'girl group'), but they were there. Also check out The Feminine Complex and The Luvd Ones. And a really trippy band called The Daisy Chain, who put out an album in 1967 'Straight Or Lame', check out the song 'Zzotto'..
