As luck would have it, this is the first Ringo album I ever bought...critics, or most of them, did not like "Stop"....many fans were disappointed...I was a newbie, and I loved it. It is not Ringo's best solo album, not by a long shot, but it featured 3 Beatles (not at the same time ) and some nice tunes.
The single, "Wrack My Brain", was a good piece written by George Harrison and Paul's contribution, "Private Property", is at least as good. The rest is ok, but Ringo himself claims to not remember these sessions, as they occurred during a kinda drunken stage for him...He was soon to get sober and begin making Ringo music of as high a caliber as the album "Ringo".
