It's alright, but I do think Paul's voice is a little shaky on it. The arrangement could've been better too, and they could've done away with that 'Mistress & Maid' fake harpsichord sound. Mark Ronson's done such a great production job with other people, so I'm surprised he didn't give this one the right amount of propulsion to go with the tempo.

The melody is quite nifty though!

I've listened to it 6 or 7 times now, and I must admit....I like it more each listen. I think that's a good sign actually.

You're right, it does get better with every listen. I think this is because the songwriting itself is very good. And Paul's falsetto is still in excellent shape. Nice Brian Wilson touch on it too.

Another nice thing I noticed....on a sports forum I go to....the young guys on there posted it in the music thread and they have been saying things like "awesome" and " &^%! brilliant!". Considering every other thing they post there is Rap...I'll take that as another good sign.

As I was listening to the New song, I was thinking, "This sounds like the very best outtake from Memory Almost Full". I still think it sounds almost like it was drawn from the same sessions. I agree that Paul's voice is a bit shaky in spots, but the falsetto is solid as ever.
