The Wrecking Crew is the name by which a group of studio musicians came to be called - Los Angeles studio musicians who didn't have their names put on the credits, but they played on an astounding number of big hits in the 60's and 70's including music by the Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra, Nancy Sinatra, Sonny and Cher, Jan & Dean, The Monkees, Gary Lewis and the Playboys, The Carpenters, Mamas and Papas, Tijuana Brass, Ricky Nelson, Johnny Rivers. There is a list of songs here:

Glen Campbell is one of the musicians who was part of this group.
There has been a film made about these musicians (see
http://www.wreckingcrewfilm.com/) and you can see the movie trailer here:

Currently there is a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to pay the licensing for the music in the film - music that was indispensable to telling this amazing story the right way. At each level of support there are different prizes:

I thought that I would pass this along to the folks here at this forum who can understand and appreciate the contributions made by The Wrecking Crew. Feel free to pass this along to others. The more people contributing, the easier it will be to reach the goal. With 19 days remaining, they're already half way to reaching the goal.
